Double Full Moon Earrings
Moon rise in Boulder is a jaw dropping sight. The glowing orb rises above the Henry Mountain range and casts a golden hue out into the inky dark sky (did you know that Boulder rests under one of the darkest night skies in the world?) Jen wears her pair of double full moon earrings at least a few times a week. The reflection of the hammered surface is one that pairs with a casual outfit or dazzles with a dark evening ensemble.

Ana Rendón Sanders was born in Colombia, South America. Her family moved to Tucson, AZ, where she spent her adolescence in a bilingual, bicultural home. Ana later attended Northern Arizona University where she was formally trained in ceramic arts and metalsmithing, earning her BFA.
Her sense of adventure led Ana to travel throughout Europe and Morocco, but her love of the desert took her to Boulder, Utah where she spent a summer exploring the spectacular scenery of the area. Ana was drawn to root herself in the community and allow her life to blossom. In the company of her husband and now her daughter, Ana has journeyed along many creative paths: nurturing gardens, learning the art of primitive pottery, and discovering the breadth of the fiber arts through various forms of spun, woven, knit and felted fiber textiles.
Ana’s current work in metalsmithing celebrates the plasticity and intrinsic beauty of silver, brass and gold. Her overall focus is in forged metals, which she personally hand forges. Ana enjoys exploring the intricate patterns found in nature. The study of these details often finds expression in her jewelry. Ana’s jewelry designs are available in boutiques and galleries within Utah and Colorado, through her business: Firelight and Company. Custom design projects are always welcome!
